Amazon Fire TV

Whilst InstantChiro.TV works on nearly any streaming device which has a web browser we have found that some users have a difficulty using Amazon Fire TV.

Below you’ll find out how to set up your Amazon Fire TV to work with the service.

The Screen Saver Comes On Or The Screen Goes Blank After 30 Minutes

Disabling The Screensaver

Disabling the screen saver is the first thing we should do to make sure that we have a continous run of video ALL day. If your Amazon Fire TV keeps going blank after about 30 minutes then this step hasn’t been done. So lets go through this  step by step,

1. Open your Amazon app or use the remote control and go to settings.

2. In settings, select “Display and Sounds” (Circled).

3. Screensaver should appear as the first option.

3. After clicking ‘screensaver’, scroll down to the section labeled ‘start time’

4. Disable the start time by clicking ‘never’.

If this does not fix your issue then you may be using the wrong web browser. See later FAQ’s to install.

Calibrating the screen on your Amazon Fire TV

If your screen image appears to go off the screen or is too “zoomed in” then we need to follow the Amazon Fire TV calibration protocol.

4. Follow the on screen instructions

Installing The Correct Web Browser

The ONLY web browser that works on the Fire TV for looping and working all day is the Silk Web Browser. See the unaffiliated video below to see how to install the browser.

Logging In With Amazon Fire TV

Logging in is the biggest challange with Amazon Fire TV, but the good news is that you ususlly only have to do it once. Afrter that first time the username and password is saved and you can just click login.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the silk web browser (see previous installation guide) which has the word “Internet” on the icon.
  2. Open the browser
  3. Using the remote direction buttons, move the circle over the address bar in the top left. Then press the center button.
  4. Input the address instanctchiro.club and press enter
  5. When the page has loaded scroll down to and click “Login To Waiting Room TV”
  6. Input username and password
  7. Scream and shout due to Amazon Fire TV’s terrible login system (hint when inputted username go left or right and NOT down, do not cross another box)
  8. Manage to log in once
  9. Never worry about it again
  10. Click “Click Here To Go To The Club”
  11. Select from digital posters or waiting room TV for screens 1,2 or 3.
  12. Select the one you want and click play, then the full screen icon on the right of the video

Most clinics leave a dedicated screen for the waiting room tv so the next day it will still be on the correct page and you can just click play. If you use multiple videos or posters on the same TV you can always book mark the different pages for rapid access.

The initial frustration with Amazon Fire TV wears off very quickly and we find most Front Desk staff get over any objections within the forst week as they get used to the new system.

How Do I Make It Full Screen?

Using the Amazon remote you can move the circle over the fullscreen icon (shown Below)
